Realtize Integrates Chainlink Any API To Help Check Escrow Conditions on its ERC-5528-Based Investment Protocol

We’re excited to announce that Realtize — an investment platform that leverages the ERC-5528 refundable fungible token standard — has integrated Chainlink Any API on BNB Chain and Ethereum mainnet. By integrating the industry-leading decentralized oracle network, Realtize now has seamless access to the high-quality data needed to help verify escrow conditions using the ERC-5528 token standard. Ultimately this helps mitigate rug pulls and gives users stronger assurances around the safety of their funds.

We chose Chainlink as our go-to oracle solution because its infrastructure is seamless to integrate and time-tested in production. Already helping secure leading DeFi protocols responsible for tens of billions of dollars in smart contract value, Chainlink has a proven history of reliably delivering data of all types to blockchains, and is widely used by applications that require off-chain data or computation services.

In order to help power the escrow conditions on our Realtize platform, we needed seamless access to off-chain data feeds that are supplied directly on-chain in a highly reliable manner. Because blockchains are natively incapable of accessing off-chain data, we needed a flexible oracle network that could reliably and flexibly deliver high-quality data on-chain to be consumed by our application.

After reviewing various oracle solutions, we integrated Chainlink Any API because it provides a multitude of critical features such as:

• Reliable Nodes — Chainlink Any API is secured by a large collection of independent, security-reviewed, and Sybil-resistant oracle nodes run by leading enterprises, data providers, and DevOps teams who have a strong on-chain history of performance even during extreme network congestion.
• Decentralized Infrastructure — Chainlink Any API decentralized at multiple levels, eliminating any central point of failure in the delivery of external data.
• Transparent Performance — Chainlink Any API can be monitored by anyone in real-time using existing data analytic tools such as market.link and reputation.link, enabling users to verify the data triggering their contract.

In the future, Realtize plans to integrate Chainlink Automation to provide our users with automated transactions that are highly reliable and performant, while also saving valuable engineering time.
